I love wrap-around skirts, they are so versatile! I have worn them with printed tees, shirts and jackets! You can go for straight wraparound skirts, or flared ones, both look amazing. Plus, they kind of give you a slight feel of wearing a saree

Trust me on this, an accordion-pleated maxi skirt exudes sophistication, grace and is extremely feminine! And when the skirt blows a bit with the breeze, it seems musically magical! I don’t think these will go out of fashion anytime soon, so this is definitely worth investing in 

7. Denim maxi skirt is timeless….

If you do manage to find a denim maxi skirt, don’t let it go! This piece, according to me, is going to remain hot for years to come. Plus, you can wear it all year round: during summers, with a light breezy top and gladiator sandals or sneakers. In winters, all you need to do is wrap yourself in a leather jacket and boots! I have been searching for a denim maxi for months now…do let me know if you have any clue where to find them 

 

8. Tube maxi skirts are the hottest fashion item this year

If there is one fashionable thing to have engaged people of all ages this year, it has to be tube skirts with slits. I first spotted them at Zara this year, and it didn’t take me long to find these in the flea markets! I have seen girls of all ages sporting these: from school-going teens to 50 year old women! These are extremely casual and comfortable for a day out. Plus, you can find them in solid hues, stripes, Aztec designs and more!
